  7. I made this program for my 10-year old niece. It playes the famous word-guessing game of "Hangman".

  9. The text in this file is also available inside the application from the About… menu item in the Apple menu.

  11. The program should work on all kinds of (reasonably new) Mac:s and systems. The program is free and you can just give it away to anyone if you don't charge for it. But I will take no responsibility for any problems you get if you use it (standard disclaimer).

  14. The rules for this game are simple:

  16. • The computer is thinking on a word. You can see how many letters it contains by counting the boxes under the picture.
  17.  
  18. • You have to guess the word by clicking with the mouse on the letters to the right of the picture.
  19.  
  20. • If the letter you click is a part of the word, it's filled in.
  21.  
  22. • If not, the man in the picture is beginning to get hanged.
  23.  
  24. • Your job is to guess all the letters before it's too late.
  25.  
  26. By the way... You can change the words in the menu item "Define words…" in the Apple-menu. There you can also export them to a text file or import new. And you can change the level and language in the "Preferences…" menu item under "File".

This program can speak different languages! It speaks the same language as your system file (if the language exists in the program, otherwise it speaks English). If you want the program to speak your language, drop me a line. If you help me to translate the words then I can build in your language too into the program.
